[Job Posting Alert] Academic Clinical Cytogeneticist at Harvard Medical School


The Bringham and Women's Hospital (BWH) affiliated with Harvard Medical School is recruiting a full-time academic clinical cytogeneticist in the Center for Advanced Molecular Diagnostics (CAMD). Applicants must hold an MD, MD/PhD or PhD and be board certified in Clinical Cytogenetics as well as Clinical Molecular Genetics or in Laboratory Genetics and Genomics. The position involves co-direction of a comprehensive cytogenetics laboratory including chromosome analysis, FISH, and chromosomal microarray on neoplastic and constitutional specimens. Continuous development and implementation of new cutting-edge cytogenetic tests and technology platforms will be an important component of this position.


The candidate will be appointed to the full-time faculty of Harvard Medical School at an academic rank commensurate with experience.

Candidates with existing strong extramurally funded research programs are encouraged to apply and will be supported by start-up support and research space.
